Editorial principles

Dezain Radar is an editorial aggregation service focused on AI and design. Our goal is to help users discover relevant content and direct them to original publishers efficiently, while adding concise summaries and editorial context.

We design our practices with reference to generally recognized principles such as fair use, fair dealing, and quotation rights.

Source selection

We ingest only approved sources.

We:

  • respect robots.txt
  • respect rate limits
  • do not bypass paywalls

What we display

For each item we display:

  • original title
  • source name
  • country and language
  • publication date
  • link to original article

We provide:

  • a short original summary (2–4 sentences)
  • a "why this matters" insight (1–2 sentences)

Summaries and insights are generated using automated editorial processes and may be reviewed by a human editor. They are interpretive in nature and may contain inaccuracies or omissions.

We do not reproduce full article content or intentionally reproduce substantial portions of third-party content.

Preview images

For articles, we may display preview images (og:image) provided by publishers.

Article preview images are:

  • loaded from publisher servers
  • not stored or modified

Editorial module images (e.g. Featured Designer portraits) may be uploaded by our editors and stored on our infrastructure for display purposes.

Rights holders may request removal at any time.

Attribution

All items link to original publishers.

We do not:

  • host full articles
  • bypass paywalls
  • present content as our own

Removal requests

We review removal requests within a reasonable timeframe. Use the takedown form or email us.

AI-generated content

Summaries and "why this matters" insights are generated using an AI-assisted editorial system and may be reviewed by a human editor.

They are interpretive and may contain inaccuracies. The original source remains authoritative.

Featured Designer

Dezain Radar may highlight one designer at a time in an editorial "Featured Designer" module. Selection is made by our editors and is not a paid placement.

For each featured designer we may display: name, professional title, a short bio, a portrait, public social and portfolio links, and a short quote or "current signal". This information is compiled from publicly available sources.

Inclusion is editorial commentary and does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership in either direction.

Featured designers (or their representatives) can request correction or removal at any time via dezainradar@proton.me or the takedown form. We act within a reasonable timeframe.
